The PARKER 16L14BE is an intermediate compressed air lubricator designed to inject a controlled mist of oil into a downstream pneumatic system, protecting actuators, valves, and air tools from wear. Part of the Parker Series 16L, this unit operates as a micro mist lubricator, producing a fine oil particle suitable for sensitive pneumatic components. It handles up to 40 CFM of airflow through a 1/4 inch NPT port. The body is zinc with a metal bowl and nitrile seals, giving it solid chemical compatibility with standard compressor oils. A sight glass is included for easy oil-level monitoring during service checks.
The 16L14BE is suited for light to intermediate industrial and mechanical service applications where consistent lubrication of downstream pneumatic components is required. It is commonly installed in compressed air distribution lines feeding pneumatic cylinders, air motors, and hand tools in maintenance, manufacturing, and mechanical service environments. The modular connection design allows it to be combined with other Series 16L filter and regulator components to build a complete FRL assembly. Installation is typically handled by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or qualified pneumatic system technicians.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation lubricator for compressed air systems requiring a 1/4 inch NPT inline lubricator within the Parker Series 16L modular FRL product family.
Shut off and depressurize the compressed air supply before installation or service. Ensure flow direction matches the arrow or marking on the body. Use appropriate thread sealant on NPT connections and torque fittings per standard trade practice without over-tightening zinc-bodied components. Minimum working temperature is 32 degrees F; do not install or operate in environments subject to freezing conditions.
