The PARKER 169PLP-8M-4G is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow fitting designed for tube-to-male tube connections in pneumatic and fluid systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it handles working pressures up to 300 psi and operates across a temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F. The fitting accepts an 8mm outside diameter tube on the push-to-connect end and connects to a 1/4-inch BSPP male thread on the other. A yellow release button enables fast tube insertion and removal without additional tooling. Silicone-free grease and UL94 V-0 flame resistance compliance make it suitable for installations where silicone contamination is a concern.
This fitting is used in pneumatic control lines, fluid transfer assemblies, and instrumentation tubing runs found in commercial and industrial settings. The swivel elbow design helps route tubing at 90-degree angles in tight spaces, reducing stress on the tube. It is commonly installed by HVAC technicians, mechanical contractors, and industrial maintenance technicians working with push-in pneumatic or fluid circuits that require BSPP-threaded connections.
Designed for use with 8mm outside diameter push-to-connect tubing and 1/4-inch BSPP male-threaded ports. Suitable as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting in pneumatic and fluid control systems using BSPP ported components.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic or fluid piping systems. Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely and is fully seated in the push-to-connect port before restoring pressure. Thread engagement should follow standard BSPP practices, including appropriate thread sealant compatible with the fluid media and confirmed to be silicone-free.
