The PARKER 169PLP-8M-2G is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow fitting designed for tube-to-male connections in compressed air and fluid plumbing systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it accepts an 8mm outside diameter tube on the push-to-connect end and threads into a 1/8 BSPP male port. The fitting is rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. A silver body with a yellow release button allows technicians to identify and release the tube quickly during service. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians install this type of fitting in instrumentation and equipment plumbing applications.
This fitting is suited for use in residential and light commercial pneumatic, compressed air, and fluid distribution systems where a 90-degree directional change is needed at a male-threaded port. Its BSPP thread type makes it compatible with British Standard Parallel Pipe-threaded ports commonly found on imported equipment, pneumatic components, and instrumentation panels. The push-to-connect design speeds up installation and simplifies future servicing without the need for flare tools or compression sleeves. It is silicone-free, making it suitable for applications where silicone contamination is a concern.
Designed for use with 8mm outside diameter tubing at 1/8 BSPP male-threaded ports on pneumatic and fluid system components. Verify thread standard on the receiving port before installation, as BSPP threads are not interchangeable with NPT threads.
This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Confirm the receiving port is cut to a clean, burr-free end before insertion, and verify that BSPP thread engagement is full and hand-tight before applying tool torque. Do not interchange BSPP fittings with NPT-threaded ports.
