The PARKER 169PLP-6M-4G is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid-handling tubing systems. It accepts 6mm outside-diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and terminates with a 1/4-inch BSPP male thread on the elbow end. The body is nickel-plated brass, rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and a temperature range of 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. A yellow release button allows tube removal without tools. Installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial service technicians, this fitting is commonly found in compressed-air, pneumatic control, and fluid-distribution plumbing runs where a 90-degree directional change is required.
This fitting suits residential and light commercial applications where 6mm OD tubing must transition to a BSPP-threaded port at a right angle. Typical install scenarios include pneumatic actuator supply lines, instrument air tubing, and low-pressure fluid-control assemblies. The swivel feature on the male thread end allows the fitting to be torqued onto the port without twisting the connected tubing, simplifying routing in tight enclosures or panel-mount applications.
Designed for use with 6mm outside-diameter push-to-connect tubing terminating at a 1/4-inch BSPP male-threaded port. Verify BSPP thread form at the receiving port before installation, as BSPP is not interchangeable with NPT or SAE threads.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic or fluid-system plumbing. De-pressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Hand-tighten the BSPP male thread to the port first, then wrench-tighten using the 3/4-inch hex flats — do not grip the fitting body. Insert tubing straight and fully into the push-to-connect collet until it seats; verify retention by pulling back firmly on the tube before re-pressurizing.
