The PARKER 169PLP-5/32-0 is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow tube fitting designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid line applications. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it accepts 5/32-inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect end and threads to a 10-32 UNF male port on the other. The fitting is rated to 300 psi and handles operating temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The nitrile O-ring provides a reliable seal across common fluid and air media. The swivel design allows for easier alignment during installation without requiring the tubing or mating port to be rotated. HVAC, instrumentation, and fluid-power technicians use this fitting in compact plumbing runs where a 90-degree change of direction is needed at a threaded port.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial systems where 5/32-inch OD tubing connects to a 10-32 UNF threaded port at a right angle. Typical applications include pneumatic control lines, condensate or low-pressure fluid circuits, and instrumentation tubing runs. The push-to-connect mechanism allows for tool-free tube insertion, reducing labor time on multi-connection panels or equipment manifolds. The fitting meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards, making it appropriate for automotive and industrial fluid-line applications as well.
Designed for general-purpose use with systems requiring 5/32-inch OD tubing and a 10-32 UNF threaded male port connection. Meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards for pneumatic and fluid-line applications.
Installation is performed by qualified HVAC, instrumentation, or fluid-power technicians. Depressurize and isolate the line before removing or installing any fitting. Verify that tubing OD is exactly 5/32 inch and cut cleanly and squarely before inserting into the push-to-connect port. Thread the 10-32 UNF male end into the mating port by hand first to avoid cross-threading, and do not exceed the rated 300 psi system pressure.
