The PARKER 169PLP-4M-M5 is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow fitting designed to join a 4 mm OD tube to an M5 x 0.8 male threaded port. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it delivers a rated working pressure of 300 psi and operates across a temperature range of 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The swivel elbow design allows for easy line routing without twisting the connected tubing. A silver body with a yellow release button provides quick tube insertion and single-hand disconnection. This fitting is installed by HVAC technicians, pneumatic systems technicians, and instrumentation professionals working with small-bore tubing applications.
This fitting is suited for light pneumatic and instrumentation circuits where a 4 mm OD tube must transition to an M5 x 0.8 threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Typical applications include control panels, pneumatic actuators, and instrument air lines in both commercial and light industrial settings. Its silicone-free grease lubrication makes it appropriate for environments sensitive to silicone contamination. The UL94 V-0 flame resistance rating makes it suitable for use in or near electrical enclosures where flame-retardant components are required.
Designed for use with 4 mm OD tubing connecting to M5 x 0.8 threaded ports. Suitable as a direct replacement or new-installation fitting in pneumatic and instrumentation systems requiring a 90-degree tube-to-male-thread transition.
Installation is performed by qualified instrumentation or pneumatic technicians. Depressurize and isolate the pneumatic circuit completely before installing or removing any push-to-connect fitting. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs before insertion to achieve a proper seal. Verify thread engagement on the M5 x 0.8 port before pressurizing the system.
