The PARKER 169PLP-4M-4G is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow fitting designed for tube-to-male tube connections in pneumatic and fluid systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, this fitting accepts a 4 mm outside diameter tube on the push-to-connect end and connects to a 1/4 inch BSPP male thread on the other. It is rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The silver body with yellow release button provides quick, tool-free tube insertion and secure sealing. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system installers use this fitting where a right-angle connection point is needed in tight or angled plumbing runs.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic lines, compressed air systems, and fluid control applications where a 90-degree change of direction is required at a threaded port. The BSPP thread type makes it compatible with British Standard Parallel Pipe threaded ports commonly found in imported equipment and controls. The swivel feature allows the fitting body to rotate during installation, reducing stress on connected tubing and simplifying alignment in confined spaces.
Designed for use with 4 mm outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and 1/4 inch BSPP male-threaded ports. Verify thread type before installation, as BSPP threads are not interchangeable with NPT or BSPT threaded ports.
Installation is typically performed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Hand-tighten the BSPP thread connection and use the appropriate hex wrench on the 3/4 inch hex to achieve a leak-free seat without over-torquing the brass body. Confirm tube outside diameter is exactly 4 mm before insertion, as undersized or oversized tubing will not seat or seal correctly.
