The PARKER 169PLP-4M-2G is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow fitting designed for tube-to-male tube connections in pneumatic and fluid systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, this fitting accepts a 4mm outside diameter tube and connects to a 1/8 BSPP male thread. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The yellow release button allows for quick, tool-free tube insertion and removal. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service technicians install this type of fitting in compressed air lines, instrumentation, and fluid control assemblies.
This fitting is suited for light commercial and industrial pneumatic plumbing applications where a 90-degree directional change is required between a 4mm OD tube run and a 1/8 BSPP male threaded port. The swivel design simplifies alignment during assembly, reducing stress on the tube and thread connection. The nickel-plated brass body and UL94 V-0 flame-resistant push-to-connect mechanism make it appropriate for use in panel-mounted assemblies, valve manifolds, and instrumentation enclosures where space is limited and clean, secure connections are required.
Designed for use with 4mm outside diameter tubing and 1/8 BSPP male threaded ports in pneumatic and fluid control systems. Verify thread standard and tube OD before installation, as BSPP threads are not interchangeable with NPT or BSPT.
Power down or de-energize and fully depressurize the pneumatic or fluid system before servicing any fittings. Insert the tube straight and fully into the fitting until it seats to ensure a leak-free connection. Hand-tighten the threaded male end into the mating port, then use an appropriate wrench on the hex to achieve a secure seal without over-torquing the brass body. Follow applicable facility or equipment codes for pneumatic line installation and inspection.
