The PARKER 169PLP-2-0 is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow tube fitting designed for use in pneumatic and fluid transfer lines requiring a right-angle directional change. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, the fitting accepts 1/8 inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect end and terminates with a 10-32 UNF male thread on the other. It is rated to 300 psi and operates across a temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F. The push-to-connect mechanism allows for fast, tool-free tube insertion, while the swivel male end simplifies alignment during installation. HVAC technicians, pneumatic system assemblers, and general plumbing tradespeople are the typical installers.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose pneumatic tubing applications in both light industrial and trade service environments. The 90-degree swivel elbow configuration is commonly used where space constraints require a compact directional transition at a threaded port. It is compliant with D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844, making it appropriate for systems that require documented standards conformance. The nitrile O-ring provides a reliable seal across the rated temperature and pressure range.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid transfer systems using 1/8 inch OD tubing with a 10-32 UNF male threaded port. Meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards.
Installation is performed by qualified pneumatic or plumbing technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect end until it seats; to release, depress the collet button while pulling the tube straight out. Thread the male UNF end into the mating port by hand first, then snug with an appropriate wrench — do not overtighten brass fittings.
