The PARKER 169PLP-12M-6G is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow fitting designed for tube-to-male tube connections in compressed air and fluid distribution systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, it is rated for up to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The BSPP male thread and 12.00 mm tube outside diameter accommodate metric tubing commonly found in pneumatic and light hydraulic circuits. The silver body with yellow release button allows for tool-free tube insertion and one-handed disconnection. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system technicians are the primary installers of this fitting type.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic systems, compressed air distribution lines, and fluid handling assemblies where a 90-degree directional change is required at a male threaded port. The swivel feature allows the elbow orientation to be adjusted after assembly without disturbing the tube connection, which is particularly useful in tight panel or cabinet installations. The UL94 V-0 flame resistance rating on the fitting components makes it appropriate for control panel and enclosed-cabinet pneumatic runs.

Depressurize and isolate the pneumatic or fluid system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Confirm tubing outside diameter and thread type match the fitting specifications before assembly. Cut tubing square and deburr the end before inserting into the push-to-connect collet to ensure a proper seal. BSPP threads are parallel and require an O-ring or sealant at the mating port face rather than thread-sealing tape on the threads themselves.
