The PARKER 169PLP-12M-4G is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel male elbow fitting designed for tube-to-male tube connections in pneumatic and fluid systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, it accepts 12mm outside diameter tubing and features a 1/4 BSPP male thread. The fitting is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and operates across a temperature range of 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The silver body with yellow release button allows fast, tool-free tube insertion and removal, making it well suited for service work where quick disconnects reduce downtime. It meets the UL94 V-0 flame resistance standard.
This fitting is used in compressed air lines, pneumatic control circuits, and fluid distribution systems found in HVAC equipment, industrial machinery, and process control applications. The BSPP thread type makes it appropriate for systems using British Standard Parallel Pipe connections. Its push-to-connect design is typically installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or pipefitters working on pneumatic actuators, control lines, and similar low-pressure tubing runs where secure, leak-free connections are required without soldering or flare tooling.
Designed for use with 12mm outside diameter tubing and 1/4 BSPP male-threaded ports in pneumatic and fluid systems requiring a 90-degree elbow configuration.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC technician, plumber, or pipefitter. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure the mating port thread type is BSPP before assembly, as mixing thread standards can result in leaks or joint failure. Verify tube outside diameter is 12mm and that tube ends are cut square and deburred before insertion.
