The PARKER 169HD-6-6 is a brass compression tube male elbow designed to connect 3/8 inch OD tubing to a male NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle. It features a compression fitting on one end and a male pipe thread (MNPT) on the other, making it a standard choice for instrument, hydraulic, and fluid transfer lines. Rated to 1500 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting handles demanding service conditions. The all-brass construction resists corrosion and suits a wide range of compatible media. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this fitting during system assembly or service work where a directional tube-to-pipe transition is required.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant and instrumentation lines, compressed air systems, and hydraulic circuits that require a compression-to-NPT elbow transition. It is appropriate in applications operating between -65 degrees F and 250 degrees F. The single-piece brass body is compact and installs in tight spaces where a straight fitting will not route tubing correctly. It is sold individually and is a direct field replacement for worn or damaged elbows in existing compression tube assemblies.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement compression tube male elbow for fluid, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems requiring a 3/8 inch compression to male NPT threaded connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the fitting body, then tighten with a wrench per the compression fitting manufacturer standard practice — do not overtighten, as brass compression ferrules can be damaged by excessive force. Verify the tube is cut square, fully seated, and free of burrs before making up the connection.
