The PARKER 165PTC-3 is a push-to-connect tube-to-tube union elbow fitting designed for use in air brake and pneumatic tubing systems. Constructed from brass, this fitting accepts 3/16 inch OD tubing on both ends and delivers a rated maximum working pressure of 250 psi. The push-to-connect design allows for tool-free tube insertion, reducing installation time in high-volume or field-service environments. It carries D.O.T. certification and meets FMVSS 571.106, SAE J2494, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards, making it suitable for regulated commercial vehicle air brake circuits. This fitting is used in air brake tubing assemblies on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment where a 90-degree directional change in the tubing run is required. Its D.O.T. air brake designation means it is rated for the pressure cycles, vibration, and temperature extremes common to vehicle brake systems. The operating temperature range spans -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, covering cold-weather startup conditions through sustained high-temperature operation.
