The PARKER 165PLP-5/32 is a push-to-connect union elbow tube fitting designed to join two tubes at a 90-degree angle without tools. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it handles tubing with a 5/32-inch outside diameter and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi. The fitting features a black, flame-resistant push-button release collar that meets the UL94 V-0 flame-resistance standard. A nitrile O-ring provides a reliable seal across a wide temperature range. HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, and pneumatic system installers use this fitting where a compact, no-solder elbow connection is required in tubing runs.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving small-diameter pneumatic or fluid tubing systems. The push-to-connect design allows fast field assembly during system installation or repair. It is appropriate for use in control-line tubing, instrument air lines, and similar low-to-medium-pressure tubing circuits. The operating temperature range of 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F makes it compatible with typical HVAC and refrigeration control environments.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement or new-installation fitting for tubing systems with a 5/32-inch outside diameter tube.
Installation is typically performed by HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, or pneumatic system installers. Before servicing any tubing connection, depressurize the line completely and verify the system is isolated from its pressure source. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs before inserting it into the fitting to achieve a proper seal. To release the tube, press the collar button fully and pull the tube free.
