The PARKER 164PTC-4 is a push-to-connect brass union tee fitting designed for tube-to-tube connections in compressed air and pneumatic plumbing systems. It accepts 1/4-inch OD tubing on all three ports and requires no tools for assembly — tubing seats and locks with a single push. Rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure and certified as a DOT air brake fitting, the 164PTC-4 is built for demanding service in mobile and stationary air brake circuits. The brass body provides corrosion resistance, and the nitrile O-ring seal maintains integrity across a wide temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, fleet maintenance technicians, and HVAC mechanics install this fitting in both new construction and repair applications.
The 164PTC-4 is suited for residential and commercial pneumatic tubing systems, DOT-regulated air brake lines, and general-purpose compressed air distribution. Its union tee configuration allows a single inline run to branch to a third port without cutting into the main line. The overall installed length of 1.7 inches keeps the fitting compact in tight plumbing bays and control panels. Applications include truck and trailer air brake circuits, pneumatic control systems, and compressed air tooling lines where a reliable tee junction is required.
Designed for use with 1/4-inch OD tubing in DOT air brake systems and general pneumatic plumbing applications conforming to SAE J844 tubing specifications.
Installation is performed by a qualified plumber, pneumatic systems technician, or fleet mechanic. Before servicing any air brake line, depressurize the system completely and verify zero residual pressure at the work point per applicable DOT and FMVSS regulations. Ensure tubing ends are cut square and free of burrs before seating into the fitting. To remove tubing, depress the collet release ring evenly before pulling the tube free.
