The PARKER 164PLP-8M is a push-to-connect union tee tube fitting constructed from nickel-plated brass. It accepts three 8mm outside diameter tube ends in a tee configuration, allowing a single inline connection point to split or merge fluid lines without threading or soldering. The fitting is rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. A yellow release button identifies the collet-style release collar on each port. Silicone-free grease is used in the fitting, making it suitable for applications where silicone contamination is a concern. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system installers work with this fitting type on both fluid and compressed-air lines.
The 164PLP-8M is used in residential and light commercial applications where quick, tool-free tube connections are needed. Typical install scenarios include HVAC condensate lines, pneumatic control tubing, water treatment systems, and other low-to-medium pressure plumbing or instrumentation runs using 8mm OD tubing. The silicone-free construction and UL94 V-0 flame resistance rating make it appropriate for environments with stricter material requirements.
Designed for use with 8mm outside diameter tubing in push-to-connect plumbing, HVAC, and pneumatic installations requiring a union tee configuration.
Installation requires no tools for tube insertion — cut tubing cleanly and squarely before seating it fully into each port to ensure a proper seal. Shut off all system pressure before connecting or disconnecting tubing. To release a tube, depress the yellow collet button while pulling the tube straight out. Verify the fitting pressure and temperature ratings are within the service conditions of the system before installation.
