The PARKER 164HD-4 is a brass compression tube union designed to join three compression-end tube lines in a single fitting. It uses compression-style connections on all three ports, creating a secure, leak-resistant joint without soldering or brazing. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 2100 psi, this union is built for demanding fluid and gas distribution applications in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial systems. The all-brass construction provides corrosion resistance and durability in both wet and dry service environments. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the typical installers for this type of fitting.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC applications where tubing runs must be joined or extended at a three-way compression connection point. It performs well in copper tube systems carrying water, refrigerant-compatible fluids, or other media compatible with brass fittings. The 2100 psi working pressure rating makes it appropriate for higher-pressure service lines where a standard compression union would be undersized. Typical installations include supply line connections, instrument tubing runs, and equipment hookups requiring a reliable, reusable compression joint.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube union for use in brass-compatible tubing systems with compression-style end connections.
This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters in accordance with applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC. Shut off the water or fluid supply and relieve system pressure completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Ensure tube ends are cut cleanly and deburred before seating the compression sleeve to achieve a proper seal. Do not overtighten compression nuts, as this can deform the sleeve and compromise the joint.
