The PARKER 16 SLO-S is a compression tube male branch tee designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power plumbing applications. It features O-Ring Face Seal (ORFS) end connections on the tube side and NPTF threading on the male branch port, providing a leak-resistant seal without the need for thread sealant on the face seal side. Constructed from zinc-plated steel, it delivers corrosion resistance suitable for industrial environments. The fitting accepts 1-inch tube outside diameter and is rated to 3000 psi maximum working pressure, making it appropriate for demanding hydraulic circuit work performed by licensed plumbers and fluid power technicians.
This male branch tee is used in hydraulic systems, fluid power circuits, and industrial plumbing installations where a branch connection must be made off a main tube run. The ORFS x NPTF end configuration suits applications requiring a reliable tube-to-threaded-port transition. It is suited for both mobile equipment and stationary hydraulic systems where 1-inch tube lines are routed to threaded manifold or component ports. Installation is typically performed by hydraulic systems technicians or licensed plumbers working within applicable fluid power and plumbing code requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for hydraulic and fluid power systems utilizing 1-inch OD compression tube lines with ORFS and NPTF port connections rated to 3000 psi.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or licensed plumber. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit fully before disassembly or fitting installation. ORFS connections require the face seal O-ring to be properly seated and lubricated before torquing; do not use thread sealant on the ORFS face. NPTF threads are designed to seal on thread engagement, but inspect threads for damage before assembly.
