The PARKER 159F-8-8 is a brass 45-degree male flare elbow fitting designed for use in flared tube connections requiring a directional change. It features a Flare x MNPTF end configuration, connecting a 1/2-inch OD flared tube to a 1/2-14 NPTF male threaded port. Rated for up to 750 psi working pressure and 250 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas line applications. Brass construction provides corrosion resistance and reliable sealing in both high-pressure and temperature-sensitive environments. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified refrigeration mechanic in accordance with applicable codes including IFGC and IPC. Shut off all fluid or gas supply and relieve system pressure completely before removing or installing any fittings. Flare connections require properly flared tubing ends; inspect the flare seat for damage before assembly. Do not overtighten — apply only hand-snug plus the manufacturer-recommended turns as appropriate for the tube material and flare type.
