The PARKER 149F-12-12 is a brass 45-degree male elbow fitting designed for flared tube connections in fluid and gas distribution systems. It connects a 3/4-inch OD flared tube to a 3/4-14 NPTF male threaded port, creating a reliable, leak-resistant elbow in the line. The fitting handles working pressures up to 550 psi and temperatures up to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for hydraulic, refrigeration, and fuel system applications. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic technicians install this type of fitting during new construction and service work.
This fitting is intended for use in systems requiring a directional change at a male NPT port. Typical applications include hydraulic lines, pneumatic circuits, fuel delivery systems, and refrigerant tubing assemblies where a 45-degree offset between the tube run and the threaded port is needed. The Flare x MNPTF end configuration allows direct connection of a flared tube on one end and threaded engagement into a female NPT port on the other. It is suited for both residential and light commercial installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for systems using 3/4-inch OD flared tubing with 3/4-14 NPTF threaded ports and a 45-degree elbow connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified hydraulic technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Hand-tighten the NPTF threads first, then wrench-tighten to a snug fit without over-torquing, as brass threads can be damaged by excessive force. Verify the flared tube seat is clean and free of burrs before assembly to ensure a proper seal.
