The PARKER 12M-C12L-1-BN-B is an inline check valve designed to allow one-directional fluid flow while preventing backflow in pressurized piping systems. Rated at 3,000 WOG (Water, Oil, Gas), this valve is built for demanding service conditions where backflow prevention is critical to system integrity. The brass body offers good corrosion resistance in a wide range of media, while the stainless steel spring provides reliable seating force across pressure cycling. Connections are male NPT on both ends, making it a straightforward threaded installation into standard pipe runs. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this type of inline check valve.
This check valve is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid transfer applications where inline backflow prevention is required. The 3/4-inch pipe size fits common branch and main line runs in water distribution, compressed air, oil lines, and gas service. The MNPT x MNPT end connections allow direct installation between threaded fittings without additional adapters in most standard piping configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style inline check valve replacement or new installation fitting for 3/4-inch NPT threaded piping systems in plumbing, fluid transfer, compressed air, and gas service applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC requirements where gas service is involved. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any inline valve. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads per standard practice, and verify flow direction arrow on the valve body before final tightening. Do not over-torque the brass body, as excessive force can damage threads or deform the valve seat.
