The PARKER 12FS5C2348ACF is a direct-acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed for industrial and commercial fluid control applications. Built with a brass body and an Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) seal, it handles hot water and steam service up to 300 degrees F. The 3/4 inch NPT port and a Cv factor of 7.4 support solid flow capacity in demanding systems. Operating wattage is 11 watts. This valve is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors working on hydronic, steam, or process fluid systems.
This valve is suited for residential and commercial hot water and steam systems where a normally closed, de-energized-closed control point is required. The 3/4 inch NPT connection fits standard pipe configurations common in hydronic heating, steam distribution, and process fluid lines. It accepts multiple voltage inputs including 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 24/60Vac, 120Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50Vac, making it adaptable across a wide range of control circuits without sourcing a separate coil in many configurations. Maximum working pressure is 50 psi with a minimum operating pressure differential of 1 psi.
Designed for hot water and steam fluid control applications using 3/4 inch NPT piping. Suitable as an OEM-style or replacement direct-acting solenoid valve in hydronic heating, steam distribution, and commercial process fluid systems requiring normally closed operation up to 50 psi and 300 degrees F.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified mechanical contractor following applicable IPC and IFGC guidelines. Shut off the fluid supply and relieve system pressure completely before removing the existing valve or installing this unit. Ensure the selected control voltage matches the coil supplied with the valve — note that per manufacturer data, solenoid coils are not included and must be sourced separately. Verify pipe thread engagement and use appropriate thread sealant rated for the service temperature and fluid type.
