The PARKER 12FEL12N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube female elbow designed for high-pressure and extreme-temperature fluid and gas line connections. It transitions from a compression-style tube connection to a female NPT port in a 90-degree elbow configuration. Rated to 5800 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding industrial, instrumentation, and process piping applications. The 316 stainless steel construction provides strong corrosion resistance in aggressive media environments. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers of this type of compression fitting.
This elbow fitting is suited for use in high-pressure process lines, instrumentation tubing systems, hydraulic circuits, and chemical or cryogenic service where both extreme cold and high heat may be present. The 3/4 inch outside diameter tube compression end pairs with a 3/4-14 NPT female threaded port, making it a direct connection point to valves, manifolds, equipment housings, and other NPT-ported components. It is appropriate for residential, commercial, and industrial installations where NPT-threaded fittings are specified.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube fitting for use with 3/4 inch outside diameter tubing and 3/4-14 NPT threaded ports in instrumentation, process, and industrial piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or qualified instrumentation technician. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any compression fittings. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT male threads mating into this fitting in accordance with applicable piping codes. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
