The PARKER 12F24C2148A3F is a two-way, piloted diaphragm solenoid valve designed for controlling the flow of fluids, gases, and light oils in industrial and mechanical systems. It features a normally closed configuration with a 3/4 inch NPT port, a brass body, and an NBR seal, making it suitable for a wide range of media compatibility requirements. The valve accepts multiple voltage inputs including 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 24/60Vac, 120Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50Vac, giving installers flexibility across different control circuits. Maximum working pressure is 125 psi, and the Cv factor is 6.5, indicating solid flow capacity for its port size. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers for this type of valve.
This valve is suited for use in HVAC, plumbing, process control, and fluid-handling applications where automatic shutoff or flow control is required. Its piloted diaphragm design requires a minimum operating pressure differential of 5 psi to actuate, so it is best applied in pressurized line service rather than gravity or low-pressure systems. Compatible with fluids, gases, and light oils, it covers a broad range of commercial and light industrial applications. The coil is not included and must be sourced separately based on the required voltage for the specific installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation solenoid valve for pressurized fluid, gas, and light oil systems requiring a 3/4 inch NPT normally closed two-way valve. Cross-references to ASCO Number 8210G3. Coil is not included and must be ordered separately.
Shut off the line and relieve all system pressure before removing or installing the valve. This valve requires a minimum operating pressure differential of 5 psi to open when energized, so verify system pressure before commissioning. Install in accordance with applicable plumbing and mechanical codes, including IFGC for gas service applications. Solenoid coils are not included and must be matched to the control circuit voltage before ordering.
