The PARKER 129HB-6-2 is a brass barbed hose elbow fitting designed for fluid transfer connections in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems. It features a 1/8 inch NPTF male threaded end on one side and a 3/8 inch ID hose barb on the other, providing a 90-degree change in flow direction. The brass construction resists corrosion and handles a working temperature range of -40 degrees F to 160 degrees F. The NPTF thread form provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal without relying solely on thread sealant. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters in both residential and light commercial applications.
This elbow fitting is suited for low-pressure fluid and gas line connections where a 90-degree transition from a threaded port to a flexible hose is required. Typical applications include equipment drain lines, coolant circuits, fuel systems, and HVAC condensate or refrigerant accessory lines. The hose barb end accepts 3/8 inch inside diameter flexible hose and is secured with a clamp for a leak-free connection.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 1/8 inch NPTF threaded ports and 3/8 inch inside diameter flexible hose.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or pipefitter. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPTF male threads per applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines, and torque to the fitting port hand-tight plus the number of turns appropriate for the thread size and material as specified in job documentation. Secure the hose barb end with an appropriately sized hose clamp and inspect for leaks before returning the system to service.
