The PARKER 1204P-6 is a 90-degree male elbow pipe fitting designed for industrial and trade plumbing applications where a right-angle directional change is needed in a threaded pipe assembly. Constructed from brass, this fitting accepts a 3/8-inch male MNPTF (male national pipe thread fuel) connection and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 1,000 psi. It handles temperatures from -65 degrees F up to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of fluid and gas service conditions. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of fitting in both new construction and retrofit work.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial piping systems where a 90-degree directional change is required at a threaded male connection point. Common applications include compressed air lines, hydraulic circuits, fuel supply lines, and general-purpose fluid transfer systems. The MNPTF thread form is compatible with standard tapered pipe thread assemblies and is well suited for installations governed by SAE J530 and SAE J531 standards. It ships as a single-unit package.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for threaded pipe assemblies using 3/8-inch MNPTF connections in industrial, HVAC, plumbing, and fluid power systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly. Do not overtighten, as brass fittings can be damaged by excessive torque.
