The PARKER 12 F5OLO-S is a compression tube straight thread connector designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power plumbing applications. It features an O-Ring Face Seal (ORFS) port on one end and an SAE straight thread O-ring boss (SAE-ORB) port on the other, providing a leak-resistant metal-to-metal seal backed by elastomeric O-rings at both interfaces. Constructed from steel, this fitting is rated to a maximum working pressure of 6000 psi. It measures 1.91 inches in overall length and weighs 0.42 pounds. The 1-1/16-12 UNF thread size is a standard size commonly found in mid- to large-bore hydraulic circuits. Plumbers, pipefitters, and hydraulic system technicians install this type of connector when adapting tubing runs to component ports or manifolds.
This fitting is suited for use in industrial hydraulic systems, mobile equipment hydraulics, and fluid power plumbing where ORFS tubing connections must transition to SAE-ORB threaded ports. Typical applications include connecting steel or stainless hydraulic tubing to pump ports, valve bodies, cylinders, and manifold blocks. The ORFS x SAE-ORB end configuration makes it a direct-connect adapter between tubing assemblies and equipment rated for 1-1/16-12 UNF thread. It is packaged and sold as a single unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for hydraulic systems using 3/4-inch outside diameter tubing with ORFS connections transitioning to 1-1/16-12 UNF SAE-ORB threaded ports.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or pipefitter. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before removing or installing any fittings. Inspect O-rings for damage before assembly and lubricate them with system-compatible fluid prior to installation. Torque to the fitting manufacturer's specification for the applicable thread size; do not over-torque steel fittings into aluminum or cast-iron ports.
