The PARKER 12 ETX-S is a steel flared tube union designed to join two flared tube lines with matching 37-degree flare angles. It uses a flare x flare end connection on both sides, creating a secure, leak-resistant joint in high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power systems. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 5000 psi and a maximum working temperature of 500 degrees F, this union is built for demanding service conditions. It accepts 3/4 inch tube OD and conforms to ISO 8434-2, SAE 070201, and SAE J514 standards. Licensed plumbers, hydraulic system technicians, and fluid power mechanics are the primary installers.
This tube union is suited for use in hydraulic lines, fuel systems, and pneumatic circuits where a straight union connection between two 37-degree flared tubes is required. It is appropriate for both industrial and mobile equipment applications where high-pressure, high-temperature service is expected. The compact steel construction makes it a practical choice wherever space and pressure ratings are critical factors in the line routing design.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for hydraulic and fluid power systems using 3/4 inch OD tubing with 37-degree flared ends per SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or licensed plumber familiar with flared tube fitting assembly. Depressurize and drain the line completely before disassembly or installation. Hand-tighten the flare nuts to seat the flare, then torque to the fitting manufacturer's recommended procedure for the tube OD and material. Inspect flare surfaces for damage before assembly to ensure a leak-free joint.
