The PARKER 12-8 DBZ-SS is a compression tube female elbow fitting used to create a 90-degree directional change in tubing runs that terminate at an NPT-threaded port. Constructed from stainless steel, it connects a compression-style tube end to a female NPT (FNPT) port, making it well-suited for high-pressure fluid and gas systems. With a maximum working pressure of 5800 psi and a 3/4 inch tube outside diameter, this fitting handles demanding service conditions. It is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians working with stainless tubing in corrosive or high-pressure environments.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial applications where a tube line must connect at a right angle to a female NPT port on a valve, manifold, instrument, or equipment fitting. The compression connection eliminates the need for soldering or welding at the tube end, allowing for clean, repeatable installation in tight spaces. Its stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive fluid service, chemical lines, and sanitary or instrumentation piping systems where carbon steel fittings are not acceptable.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install compression tube female elbow for high-pressure fluid and gas plumbing systems using 3/4 inch OD tubing and female NPT-ported components.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable plumbing and piping codes. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or installing this component. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the tube, then advance with a wrench per the compression fitting manufacturer's standard procedure — do not overtighten. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads before engaging the female port.
