The PARKER 12-8 C5OLO-S is a compression tube male elbow fitting designed to connect a 1/2 inch OD tube to a male O-Ring Face Seal port terminating in a 3/4-16 UNF SAE-ORB thread. Constructed from zinc-plated steel, this fitting provides a rated working pressure of 6000 psi, making it suited for high-pressure hydraulic lines and fluid power circuits. The ORFS end delivers a leak-free metal-to-metal seal with an O-ring seated in the face, while the SAE-ORB male thread connects to a standard boss port. This fitting is used wherever a 90-degree direction change is required between a compression-style tube run and a hydraulic manifold, valve, pump, or cylinder port with a 3/4-16 SAE straight-thread O-ring boss port. Typical applications include mobile hydraulic machinery, industrial fluid power systems, and heavy equipment plumbing where high-cycle pressure loads demand a reliable, vibration-resistant connection. Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power specialist. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit fully before removing or installing any fitting. Inspect the O-ring and seating face for damage before assembly, and apply clean hydraulic fluid to the O-ring prior to torquing. Follow SAE J1926 torque specifications for the 3/4-16 thread boss port connection and verify no leaks under system pressure before returning equipment to service.
