The PARKER 12-16 C5OLO-S is a compression tube male elbow fitting designed to create a 90-degree directional change in high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power lines. Constructed from zinc-plated steel, it connects a 3/4-inch outside-diameter tube on the compression end to a 1-5/16-12 UNF O-Ring Face Seal (ORFS) male thread on the port end, which mates with an SAE straight-thread O-Ring Boss (SAE-ORB) port. Rated to 5500 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting is suited for demanding hydraulic systems where leak-free performance at elevated pressures is required. Hydraulic technicians and fluid power specialists install this fitting during line fabrication and system assembly.
This fitting is used in mobile hydraulic equipment, industrial fluid power systems, and heavy machinery where tubing must change direction at a manifold, valve body, or pump port. The ORFS connection style provides a metal-to-metal face seal with an O-ring for superior leak resistance compared to flare-type connections. The SAE-ORB male end threads directly into straight-thread boss ports common on hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and control valves in both industrial and mobile applications.
Designed for use with 3/4-inch OD hydraulic tubing and SAE-ORB straight-thread boss ports accepting a 1-5/16-12 UNF male fitting. Compatible with hydraulic systems using O-Ring Face Seal and SAE straight-thread O-Ring Boss connection standards.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power specialist. Depressurize and fully isolate the hydraulic circuit before removing or installing any fitting. Inspect the O-ring and sealing face for damage before assembly, and ensure the boss port seat is clean and free of debris. Follow the fitting and equipment manufacturer guidelines for thread engagement and O-ring lubrication to achieve a proper seal.
