The PARKER 12-14 F5OX-S is a steel straight thread connector designed for flared tube hydraulic and fluid-power lines. It joins a 37-degree JIC flare end to an SAE O-Ring Boss (ORB) port, providing a leak-resistant metal-to-metal flare seat on one end and an O-ring face seal on the straight-thread port end. Rated for a maximum working pressure of 5000 psi and a maximum working temperature of 500 degrees F (260 degrees C), this fitting handles demanding industrial, mobile hydraulic, and fluid-conveyance applications. The 3/4 inch tube OD and 1-3/16 inch UNF thread size are common in mid-size hydraulic circuits. Installation is performed by hydraulic system technicians and industrial pipefitters.
This connector is suited for use in mobile equipment hydraulic systems, industrial fluid power circuits, and any application requiring a reliable transition from a flared tube line to an SAE-ORB threaded port. The 37-degree flare conforms to SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2, making it compatible with standard JIC flare fittings found throughout agricultural, construction, and manufacturing equipment. Both ends must be clean and free of burrs before assembly to ensure proper sealing at the flare seat and O-ring.

Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or industrial pipefitter. Depressurize and lock out the hydraulic system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Inspect the flare seat and tube end for damage or out-of-round deformation before assembly; a compromised flare will not seal at rated pressure. Torque the SAE-ORB end to the port manufacturer's specified value and verify the O-ring is properly seated and lubricated before tightening.
