Depressurize and isolate the tube line completely before disassembling or installing any compression fitting. Use the appropriate tube cutter and deburring tool to prepare tube ends squarely before seating the ferrules. Do not overtighten compression nuts beyond the fitting manufacturer's recommended procedure, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
