The PARKER 12-12 CBZ-B is a brass compression tube male elbow fitting designed to connect 3/4-inch outside diameter tubing to a male NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Manufactured to ASTM-B-124 and BS2872 standards, this fitting is rated for a maximum working pressure of 1900 psi, making it suitable for demanding fluid and gas distribution systems. The compression-style connection eliminates the need for soldering or flaring, allowing for reliable, leak-resistant joints in a wide range of trade applications. This elbow fitting is used in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant and compressed air lines, instrumentation, and hydraulic systems where a directional change from tubing to a threaded port is required. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes, including IPC and IFGC guidelines where relevant. Depressurize and isolate the line before disassembly or installation of any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the fitting body before applying the appropriate number of additional turns with a wrench to seat the ferrule — consult the fitting manufacturer torque guidance for the specific tubing material and wall thickness. Do not overtighten, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
