The PARKER 10SC10-316 is a stainless steel compression tube union designed to join two compression-end tube runs in a single inline fitting. It provides a leak-resistant, metal-to-metal seal suited for high-pressure and extreme-temperature fluid or gas lines. Rated to 6100 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this union is built for demanding industrial, instrumentation, and mechanical service environments. Installation is performed by qualified pipefitters, plumbers, or instrumentation technicians working on tubing systems that require reliable, removable connections.
This fitting is applied in high-pressure tubing systems where a union connection allows for line disassembly without cutting tubing. Typical installations include instrumentation lines, hydraulic or pneumatic control circuits, process piping, and refrigeration or cryogenic service where the wide temperature range is a requirement. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive media or environments where carbon steel fittings are not suitable.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube union for high-pressure instrumentation and process tubing systems requiring stainless steel construction and compression-style end connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the tubing line completely before disassembling or installing any compression fitting. Ensure tubing ends are cut square and deburred before insertion into the fitting body to achieve a proper seal. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for pressure piping systems as required by the installation context.
