The PARKER 10MBT8N-B is a brass compression tube male branch tee designed for fluid and gas distribution lines requiring a three-way split with a threaded branch outlet. The fitting connects two compression tube ends inline while providing a 1/2 inch male NPT branch port, allowing a technician to tap into an existing tube run without cutting or soldering. Rated to 2000 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting is built for demanding service in hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and instrument tubing applications. Brass construction offers corrosion resistance and reliable sealing across a wide range of media. Installation requires only standard compression tube tools and a wrench.
This fitting is suited for residential and commercial mechanical systems where a tube line must branch off to a secondary component or gauge port. Typical applications include instrument tubing panels, hydraulic control circuits, HVAC refrigerant accessory lines, and compressed air distribution. The male NPT branch connection threads directly into a female-threaded port on valves, manifolds, or equipment bodies. The inline compression ends accept standard compression tubing on both sides of the tee body.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation compression fitting for hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrument tubing systems using 1/2 inch male NPT threaded branch connections. Cross-reference Swagelok part number B-1010-3-8TTM for equivalent fitment verification.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or mechanical technician familiar with compression fitting assembly and applicable codes such as ASME B31.1 or IFGC. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembly or installation. Hand-tighten compression nuts and then snug with a wrench per standard compression fitting practice — do not overtighten, as brass fittings can deform the ferrule seat. Apply thread sealant to the male NPT branch threads in accordance with the system medium and applicable installation standards.
