The PARKER 10FSC8N-B is a brass compression tube connector designed to join tubing to female NPT threaded ports in fluid and gas distribution systems. It features a 5/8 inch tube outside diameter compression end paired with a 3/8-18 FNPT threaded end, providing a reliable mechanical seal without soldering or welding. Rated to 2000 psi maximum working pressure, this connector is suited for high-pressure instrumentation, pneumatic, and hydraulic lines. Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before disconnecting or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the fitting body, then advance with a wrench per standard compression fitting practice — do not overtighten, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal. Verify system pressure does not exceed the 2000 psi rated maximum after returning the line to service.
