The PARKER 10FSC6N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join tubing to female NPT-threaded ports in high-pressure and extreme-temperature fluid or gas systems. It features a compression end on one side and a female NPT (FNPT) end on the other, providing a reliable, leak-resistant connection without welding or flaring. The 316 stainless steel construction handles a maximum working pressure of 6,100 psi and a temperature range from -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding industrial, process, and instrumentation applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers.
This connector is used in applications requiring a transition from compression tubing to a female NPT-threaded port. Common install scenarios include process instrumentation lines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, chemical processing, cryogenic service, and high-temperature steam or gas lines. The 3/8-18 NPT thread size and 5/8 inch tube outside diameter make it a standard choice in mid-size instrument and process tubing runs across both industrial and commercial settings.
Designed as a standard OEM-style compression-to-FNPT connector for instrumentation, process, and fluid system tubing runs using 5/8 inch OD tubing and 3/8-18 NPT-threaded ports.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Shut down and depressurize the system completely before disconnecting or installing any fittings. Tighten compression fittings to the fitting manufacturer's recommended procedure — typically a defined number of turns past finger-tight — and do not over-tighten, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping or the IPC for plumbing applications.
