The PARKER 10BLP10-316 is a stainless steel compression tube plug designed to terminate or cap off a compression fitting connection in fluid and gas line systems. Rated to 6100 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this plug is built for demanding industrial, hydraulic, and instrumentation applications. The 7/8-20 thread size with compression-style end connection provides a secure, leak-resistant seal without welding. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting when a compression line needs to be safely capped or isolated.
This compression tube plug is suited for use in high-pressure fluid systems, hydraulic lines, instrumentation tubing, and industrial process piping where stainless steel construction is required for corrosion resistance. The extreme temperature range makes it appropriate for cryogenic service down to -425 degrees F as well as elevated-temperature process environments up to 1200 degrees F. It is commonly installed during system maintenance, line isolation, or pressure testing procedures.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube plug compatible with 7/8-20 NPT compression fitting systems requiring a stainless steel cap or termination point in high-pressure fluid or gas lines.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or qualified instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or installing this plug. Use appropriate compression fitting tools to achieve a proper ferrule seat and leak-free connection — do not overtighten by hand estimation alone. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping or the IPC for plumbing applications when determining system suitability.
