The PARKER 10343-4-4 is a male rigid straight fitting designed for hydraulic hose assemblies in fluid power systems. Constructed from steel, it features a 7/16-20 threaded connection with a Male JIC 37-degree flare interface. The fitting accommodates a 1/4-inch (0.25 inch) hose inside diameter and measures 1.99 inches in overall length. It is intended for use in high-pressure hydraulic circuits where a secure, leak-resistant hose-to-port connection is required. Installation is performed by hydraulic system technicians and fluid power mechanics in mobile, industrial, and stationary equipment applications.
This fitting is rated for use with Parker hose series 187, 302, 304, 387, 422, 424, 426, 436, 471TC, 471ST, 472TC, 482TC, 482ST, 487, 722, 787, 797, and 881, covering a broad range of medium- and high-pressure hydraulic hose assemblies. It is suited for both OEM production builds and field repair situations where a straight male rigid end connection is needed at the hose termination point. The 9/16-inch hex allows standard wrench engagement during assembly.
Designed for use with Parker hose series 187, 302, 304, 387, 422, 424, 426, 436, 471TC, 471ST, 472TC, 482TC, 482ST, 487, 722, 787, 797, and 881 hoses with a 1/4-inch (hose size 4) inside diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power mechanic. Depressurize and bleed the hydraulic system fully before disconnecting any hose or fitting. Inspect the JIC flare seat and threads for damage before assembly, and use a calibrated torque wrench to achieve proper makeup without over-tightening the flare connection. Follow applicable industry standards and equipment manufacturer guidelines for assembly and system re-pressurization.
