The PARKER 10343-10-10 is a male rigid straight fitting designed for hydraulic hose assemblies in industrial and mobile hydraulic systems. Built from steel, this fitting connects a 5/8-inch (0.625-inch ID, hose size 10) hydraulic hose to a 7/8-14 UNF threaded port using a Male JIC 37-degree flare sealing surface. It measures 3.03 inches overall length. The threaded, straight body makes this a field-reliable choice for technicians building or repairing high-pressure hydraulic lines across stationary and mobile equipment applications. Licensed hydraulic technicians and industrial mechanics are the primary installers.
This fitting is rated for use in straight-run hose terminations where a rigid male end connection is required. It is well suited for industrial machinery, mobile equipment, and fluid power systems that rely on JIC flare-style fittings for leak-free thread engagement. The 15/16-inch hex size allows for standard wrench torquing during assembly. Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or industrial mechanic familiar with fluid power systems. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before disassembling or assembling any hose or fitting. Use a properly sized open-end or crow-foot wrench on the 15/16-inch hex to achieve proper assembly without damaging the flare seating surface. Verify thread engagement and flare contact are correct before returning the system to service, and inspect for leaks during initial pressurization.
