The PARKER 10143-8-10 is a male rigid hydraulic hose fitting designed for high-pressure fluid power applications. Constructed from steel with a straight shape and male NPTF threaded connection, this fitting attaches hydraulic hose assemblies to ports and components operating at up to 10,000 psi working pressure. The 5/8-inch hose inside diameter (0.625 inches) corresponds to a size 10 hose designation. Overall length measures 3.04 inches (77 mm). A 15/16-inch hex drive makes installation straightforward with standard open-end or flare-nut wrenches. This fitting is part of Parker Series 43 and is intended for use by hydraulic system technicians, industrial maintenance professionals, and fluid power mechanics.
This fitting is suited for industrial and mobile hydraulic systems where a reliable, leak-resistant NPTF threaded connection is required at the hose termination. The male NPTF thread provides a dry-seal mechanical connection that does not rely solely on thread sealant to hold pressure. It is commonly installed in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, industrial presses, and other systems using compatible Parker hose series. The straight configuration simplifies routing in applications where a direct inline connection is adequate.
Designed for use with Parker 187 (TC, ST), 302, 304, 387 (TC, ST), 422, 424, 426, 436, 471TC, 471ST, 472TC, 482TC, 482ST, 487 (TC, ST), 722 (TC, ST), 787 (TC, ST), 797 (TC, ST), and 881 hose series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician. Depressurize and bleed down the hydraulic system completely before disconnecting or installing any fittings. NPTF threads rely on thread-form interference for sealing; inspect threads for damage before assembly and apply thread sealant per system requirements and applicable fluid power standards. Torque to the fitting manufacturer and system designer specifications using the 15/16-inch hex.
