The PARKER 10143-6-8 is a straight male rigid hose fitting designed for high-pressure hydraulic systems. Machined from steel with a male NPTF threaded connection, this Series 43 fitting accepts 1/2 inch inside diameter hydraulic hose and is rated to 10,000 psi maximum working pressure. At 2.59 inches overall length, it delivers a compact, reliable hose-end termination suited for demanding fluid power applications. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and hydraulic technicians rely on threaded NPTF fittings like this one to create leak-resistant connections without sealant on the first assembly. The 3/8-18 NPTF thread mates with standard NPTF ports and requires a 7/8 inch hex for installation torque.
This fitting is intended for use in industrial, mobile, and commercial hydraulic systems where hose assemblies must withstand high working pressures. It is compatible with Parker hose series 187, 302, 304, 387, 422, 424, 426, 436, 471TC, 471ST, 472TC, 482TC, 482ST, 487, 722, 787, 797, and 881, including TC and ST variants where applicable. Typical applications include hydraulic power units, mobile equipment, and machine tool circuits operating at pressures up to 10,000 psi.
Compatible with Parker hose series 187, 302, 304, 387, 422, 424, 426, 436, 471TC, 471ST, 472TC, 482TC, 482ST, 487, 722, 787, 797, and 881 hoses. Accepts 1/2 inch (Hose Size 8) inside diameter hose.
Hydraulic hose fitting assembly should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or millwright following the fitting manufacturer's assembly procedures. Depressurize and bleed the hydraulic system fully before disconnecting or installing any hose or fitting. NPTF threads are designed for dry-seal connections, but verify thread engagement and inspect for damage before assembly. Follow applicable industry standards and equipment OEM specifications for torque and assembly procedures.
