The PARKER 10-8 GBZ-B is a straight brass compression tube connector designed to join compression tubing to a female NPT threaded port in a single inline fitting. Built from brass conforming to ASTM-B-453 and ASTM-B16 standards, this connector delivers a 2000 psi maximum working pressure rating, making it well suited for moderate- to high-pressure fluid and gas line applications. With a 1/2 inch thread size and a compression-to-FNPT end configuration, it provides a reliable, leak-resistant connection between soft copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing and a fixed female-threaded port. This connector is used in applications where a compression tubing run must terminate or transition at a female NPT port without soldering or flaring. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC or mechanical technician in accordance with applicable local codes, IPC, or IFGC requirements. Shut off system pressure and relieve any residual pressure before disassembly or fitting installation. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and deburred before inserting into the compression end to achieve a proper seal. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as brass fittings can be damaged by excessive torque.
