The PARKER 10-6 FBZ-SS is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to create a leak-tight transition between a compression tube end and a male NPT threaded port. This fitting is used in fluid and gas distribution lines where a secure, corrosion-resistant mechanical connection is required. With a maximum working pressure of 6100 psi and a 3/8 inch NPT thread size, it suits demanding process, instrumentation, and HVAC-adjacent plumbing applications. The all-stainless steel construction holds up in wet, chemical, or outdoor environments. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers of this fitting type.
This connector is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, process instrumentation, pneumatic control lines, and refrigeration-adjacent tubing runs where a compression-to-male NPT interface is needed. It is appropriate for use in both new construction and retrofit service work where tubing must terminate at a threaded port without soldering or welding. The compression end accepts standard OD tubing and provides a reliable, reusable connection point. Applications include control panel plumbing, compressed air lines, hydraulic instrument tubing, and similar moderate-to-high-pressure fluid systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install compression tube connector for systems using 3/8 inch NPT threaded ports with standard OD compression tubing in plumbing, instrumentation, and fluid-handling applications.
Installation of compression fittings should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before disconnecting or installing any fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the tube end first, then use a wrench to achieve a snug, leak-free seat — do not overtighten, as this can deform the compression ferrule. After installation, pressure-test the line before returning the system to service.
