The PARKER 10-12 CBZ-SS is a compression tube male elbow fitting manufactured from stainless steel. It connects a 5/8-inch outside diameter tube to a male NPT threaded port in a 90-degree elbow configuration. Rated for a maximum working pressure of 6100 psi, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas handling applications. The compression end grips the tube mechanically, eliminating the need for soldering or welding at the tube connection. It is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians working on high-pressure systems.
This fitting is suited for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, and process fluid systems where a reliable tube-to-pipe transition is required at an elbow. Its stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive environments, high-purity fluid lines, and applications requiring resistance to oxidation or chemical exposure. Typical installation scenarios include industrial process piping, HVAC controls, and compressed gas distribution systems where a directional change from tube to threaded pipe is needed.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for use with 5/8-inch OD tubing in systems requiring a compression-to-male NPT elbow transition at high-pressure service conditions.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the tube, then advance with a wrench per standard compression fitting practice — do not overtighten, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the male NPT threads in accordance with applicable codes such as IPC or ASME B31.3 for the fluid service involved.
