The PARKER 10-10-8 SBZ-SS is a stainless steel compression tube male branch tee designed for high-pressure fluid and gas distribution systems. It provides a three-way branch connection with compression fittings on two ends and a male NPT threaded end on the third, allowing integration into threaded pipe assemblies without welding or soldering. Rated to 6100 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting is suited for demanding industrial, refrigeration, and instrumentation applications where leak-free connections and corrosion resistance are critical. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers.
This fitting is used in applications requiring a reliable branch takeoff from a compression tube run to a male NPT port. Typical scenarios include instrumentation tubing systems, hydraulic or pneumatic control lines, and process piping where stainless steel is required for corrosion resistance or cleanliness. The compression ends accept tubing in line with the fitting size designation, while the MNPT end connects directly to a female NPT port on a valve, manifold, or panel. It is suitable for both residential and commercial installations where high-pressure ratings and stainless construction are specified.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install compression branch tee for systems using 1/2 inch NPT threaded connections and compression tube fittings in stainless steel construction.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fittings and NPT thread sealing practices. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembly or installation. Apply an appropriate thread sealant to the MNPT end in accordance with the applicable code — do not over-tighten NPT threads. Compression ends should be assembled with proper ferrule seating per Parker compression fitting instructions; do not substitute ferrules from other manufacturers.
