The PARKER 10-1/2 F5OG-S is a straight industrial pipe adapter designed to connect a 7/8-14 male straight thread O-ring (STOR) port to a 1/2-inch female NPTF port. Rated to 5,000 psi maximum working pressure, this adapter is built for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power systems where a reliable, leak-resistant connection is required. The body is zinc-plated steel, providing corrosion resistance in typical industrial and mobile equipment environments. At 1.5 inches overall length and with a 1-1/8-inch hex, it installs cleanly with standard open-end or combination wrenches. Plumbers, hydraulic technicians, and fluid power mechanics working on industrial equipment or mobile machinery are the primary installers.
This adapter is suited for hydraulic lines, fluid power circuits, and industrial piping assemblies where a straight-thread O-ring male fitting must transition to a female NPTF pipe thread. The NPTF female end creates a dry-seal mechanical thread connection, reducing the need for thread sealant when mated correctly. Typical applications include hydraulic manifolds, pump ports, cylinder ports, and industrial fluid lines operating at pressures up to 5,000 psi. The straight fitting shape keeps the assembly compact and in-line.
Designed as an OEM-style straight adapter for hydraulic and fluid power systems requiring a 7/8-14 male straight thread O-ring to 1/2-inch female NPTF port connection rated to 5,000 psi.
Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before removing or installing any fittings. The male straight thread O-ring end relies on the O-ring for sealing at the port face — inspect the O-ring for damage before assembly and replace it if necessary. Torque to the equipment manufacturer or fitting manufacturer specifications using a backup wrench on the port. The NPTF female end is a dry-seal thread; apply thread sealant only if required by the system design, as NPTF threads are intended to seal on thread contact alone.
