The PARKER 1 MRO-S is a zinc-plated steel industrial pipe street tee designed for threaded pipe assemblies in commercial and industrial fluid systems. It combines a 1-inch male NPT fitting (MNPTF) with a 1-inch female NPT fitting (FNPTF) in a tee configuration, allowing a branch connection to be made in line with existing pipe runs. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 1,800 psi, this fitting is built for demanding service conditions. Plumbers, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians install this type of fitting when routing compressed air, hydraulic, or water supply lines where a directional branch is needed without adding a separate coupling.
This street tee is suited for industrial maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) applications across manufacturing facilities, mechanical rooms, and utility piping systems. The MNPTF x FNPTF thread configuration allows it to thread directly into a female-threaded port or fitting on one end while accepting a male-threaded pipe or component on the other, reducing the need for additional adapters in tight spaces. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly — do not over-tighten, as this can crack the fitting body or damage threads. Verify that the system working pressure does not exceed the 1,800 psi rating of this fitting after installation.
