The PARKER 1/8 GG-S is a straight pipe coupling designed for high-pressure fluid and gas line connections in industrial and mechanical systems. It features female-to-female FNPTF (Female National Pipe Thread Fuel) connections at both ends, allowing two threaded pipe sections to be joined inline. Rated to 6,000 psi maximum working pressure, this coupling is built for demanding service environments where pressure integrity is critical. The 5/8 inch hex profile accepts standard wrenches for secure installation. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of fitting in compressed air, hydraulic, fuel, and instrumentation line assemblies.
This coupling is suited for both residential and commercial applications where 1/8 inch NPT threaded connections are required. Typical uses include connecting short pipe runs, repairing existing threaded lines, or adapting threaded fittings in tight quarters. The straight configuration and compact 3/4 inch overall length make it a practical choice for installations with limited clearance. It is commonly used in compressed air distribution systems, hydraulic circuits, fuel supply lines, and instrumentation tubing where FNPTF-rated fittings are specified.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for systems requiring 1/8 inch FNPTF straight couplings rated to 6,000 psi.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or qualified HVAC technicians. Always depressurize and isolate the line before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads being engaged, following the fitting manufacturer and applicable code requirements such as IFGC or IPC. Do not over-tighten — snug the fitting with a wrench to the hex flats and avoid exceeding the fitting's rated pressure after assembly.
